Each of our handbags has a message designed into the handbags. The bag tells a story that is combined of elements from the culture it is from, the woman it was inspired by, and a fortune to carry with you.

This bag was inspired by a woman named Lillian who was a farm wife and mother of ten children. She was the peace-keeper not only to her family but also to everyone who knew her. She would be sought out for her sage advice and she would treat everyone to a hug after her words. She experienced love, loss, and many challenges.

She is all of us. We seek to bring balance to a world that sometimes can feel a bit like chaos. The message for this bag is that even in the chaos we can bring harmony and peace to our lives. The bag was designed with asymmetrical balance. The red textile in the front hints at a diagonal theme as you open the handbag to be delighted with a textile designed by a family-owned company in Fez, open since the 1800’s. There are no visible zippers holding the bag together. Only the magnets beneath the surface, as many times strength can be quiet and an invisible balancing source in our life. The mandala imprinted by hand with a brass stamp made in Casablanca symbolizes the moment your version of balance can come together in harmony.

Each element in this handbag was sourced from Morocco and the product was handcrafted by artisans in Marrakech.
